Are you interested in working for VCU Recreational Sports? Join us here at the Cary Street Gym Aquatic Center for water exercise training and to learn the basics of how to teach group exercise to diverse populations. Participants who can demonstrate competency in teaching may be offered a position with the VCU Aquatic program!
What you will be learning: How to teach proper water exercise techniques and form, and the teaching the principles of water and how to apply these principles to water exercise.
Students must attend all scheduled class times at the Cary Street Gym Aquatic Center: 4pm-8pm. Cost is $25 (per session) for VCU Students/Recreational Sports members. Spring session 1 is February 10th, register now until the 9th (the second session is not until April 27th this spring).
Come out and discover something new and get an opportunity to learn and share with others. Water fitness instructor training can really pay off (even with a job!).
